‘Fantastic’ G2E Asia for Cammegh
UK roulette specialist Cammegh enjoyed an excellent showing at this year’s G2E Asia, Andrew Cammegh said.
“It’s been a fantastic show. We have real traction for our products in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia and we continue to have success throughout the region as a whole.”
“What was really exciting,” Andrew added, “was the positive response to the Mercury 360’s new and unique Bonus Numbers feature, whereby up to six additional random values can be mechanically generated and recorded by the wheel.
“The interest is beyond our hope and expectation. The flexible Bonus Numbers offer is really appreciated by customers who want to add value and interest to the traditional game of roulette and we are talking with operators looking to implement Bonus Numbers based side bets as part of next year’s capital expenditure – it’s exciting.”
Another product capturing the imagination was Cammegh’s Mercury 360 Aurora wheel, which, making use of Cammegh’s Bonus Numbers, randomly chooses a winning colour, allowing a new betting feature and mystery prize. “We received an order for five Aurora wheels with Billboard displays during the show, which demonstrates the eye catching nature of the wheel and the appeal of its side bets.”
The company’s EyeCard card recognition system for blackjack and baccarat games, based on Cammegh’s Billboard platform, also proved popular with orders secured off the stand.
Andrew explained: “Following the show, we are looking to form OEM partnerships with electronic roulette system manufacturers wanting to integrate with our automatic roulette wheel, Slingshot 2. The popularity of the Slingshot 2 is growing all the time. It’s GLI approved, established and an extremely reliable automatic roulette wheel, operated all over the world and OEMs looking to release second or third generation electronic roulette systems are increasingly attracted to it, especially those having experienced alternative automated wheels."
Overall, he said, it had been a fantastic show.
“The calibre of visitors was high quality and it continues to be an event during which you can get real business done. We are looking forward to showing in this region next year.”
